Travis studied photojournalism in college and followed his passion into a career as a press photographer at a small newspaper in Southern Oregon. He developed a talent for capturing newsworthy moments and won an Associated Press award for his coverage of the Biscuit Fire in 2002.

With the rise of the internet and the steady decline of print journalism, Travis began to question where the industry could take him. He decided to forge his own path by opening a small portrait photography studio. Before long, he had outgrown both the studio and the small town he called home. He relocated his business to Austin, Texas, where he continued to grow and refine his craft. His meticulous attention to detail and genuine dedication to doing things the right way have earned him the praise and trust of his clients.

Today, Travis specializes in capturing the energy, atmosphere, and defining moments of corporate events with professionalism and creativity. He also operates Rebel With A Camera, where he showcases an extensive portfolio of portrait, travel, and fine art photography.
